2010 Internet Movie Poster Awards - Bravest Nominees

Buried
Although this poster does show the main actor it is clearly not trying to sell the film off the star power of Ryan Reynolds. His image is pretty much buried amid all the black space.
Conviction
Despite the credits at the top touting a cast featuring one Academy award winner and three nominees, none of these well-know faces is anywhere to be seen on the poster.
For Colored Girls
Although each of the actors were highlighted in a series of character posters, this design shows off none of the big name stars - unless you are able to identify who belongs to those eyes...
Knight and Day
The faces of two major stars are completely absent from this design. Although it has the feel of a teaser, this artwork seemed to end up being the main poster for the film's promotion, which is surprising considering how we've come to expect Tom Cruise's face taking up at least 3/4 of the available poster space.
You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger
Many of Woody's Allen's films avoid showing off the faces of the big name stars and this one is no exception. Perhaps it is because he typically has such a large ensemble of well known actors that there would be no way to fit them all on the poster without it seeming terribly cluttered. (Compare it to this version, for example.)

and the winner is...

I don't see anything brave in ''Dark Stranger'' just retreading the ground of ''Curse of the Jade Scorpion''.

Tyler Perry movie posters always doing something daring with color and images that astounds you.

Just like its trailers, Buried had you guessing what's going on and how the situation will end.

Disappointing again that the only films that make the ''bravest'' list are those which did not use head-shots of the main stars. In this day and age when Hollywood ''Star'' Power is at an all time low its really not as brave as perhaps it once was. A wider range of examples of ''braveness'' would be vastly beneficial to this category.

Wasn't really a fan of the film, but I thought ''Never Let Me Go'' had a very evocative (and non-starry) poster, with Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan running away from the camera and into a beautiful void.

For political correctness, the bravest poster should be Taqwacores!
